“HOMEBASS RADIO” on WPKN 89.5FM Bridgeport is a radio show hosted by DJ Greg Brown and NJOYS featuring a selection of experimental electronic dance music from around the world. The emphasis will be on introducing the audience to new tunes and artists not played in commercial clubs. The show will have an international focus and the hosts will make an effort to inform and guide the audience into opening up to new types of electronic music by playing a wide selection of music from tech house, drum & bass, dubstep, afrobeat, techno, baltimore house, and disco.

DJ Greg Brown (myspace.com/thatskull) is a music producer, visual artist, and resident of Bridgeport. At only 22 years old he was named one of the up and coming drum and bass producers in Drum & Bass Arena magazine and has already been recognized by DJ Zinc and DJ Joe Nice of DubWar for his talent. Hecurrently has a release on FoulPlay Records of his signature dubstep track "I'm Superbad".

NJOYS is a house and afrobeat dj, photographer, and resident of the Read’s Artspace in downtown Bridgeport. He has hosted student radio shows from RMIT in Melbourne, Australia to Wesleyan in Middletown, Connecticut and is known for his warm delivery and love of everything danceable. Making his bread and butter in the film and television industry he constantly rubs shoulders with independant electronic music heavyweights from Appleblim to DB to local artists creating new sounds. His goal is to open up the urban audience to the diverse sounds of electronic music.
