Sugarloaf celebrated the 25th anniversary of the biggest spring skiing party in the east, the annual Bud Light Reggae Festival, featuring John Brown's Body, Mighty Mystic, Renegade Soundstation, and more.
Don't miss next year's Reggase Fest, scheduled for April 10-13, 2014!
The Holga might not be the worst camera in the world, but it’s close. Zero megapixels. No image processor. Plastic lens. But its lack of sparkle, its inherent basic-ness is also what makes it great. It is prized for its flaws and its character. Its amazing lack of precision and enormous light leaks give a Holga’s photos a hazy, dreamy quality. Its images look like warm memories. The Holga was Instagram 26 years before the iPhone.
Last winter, four Sugarloafers took this funky camera on a mission. They snapped roll after roll of quirky, blurry, hazy images to document a season of memories, and a mountain whose own soul might find kinship with that of the beloved Holga.
Nothing says "summer in Maine" quite like a lobster. That's why Sugarloaf's 45 North restaurant offers a fresh Maine lobster dinner every Wednesday throughout the summer, featuring lobsters plucked from the ocean the very same day by Sugarloafer and lobsterman Seth Mayberry. We tagged along with Seth on his boat to follow the whole process, from the ocean to your plate.
To make reservations for a lobster dinner of your very own, call 45 North at 207-237-4220
