1. “Wheelies” is a six minute observational comedy about two men that have lived next door to each other for some time without ever really getting to know each other.

We join the story when one man swaps his old bin for his neighbour’s new bin. This is followed by a series of confrontations descending into a farcical display of one-upmanship and immaturity. Eventually this leads to the two men fighting in the street like school boys. However, when they are interrupted by an unlikely and unusual onlooker everything changes.

The movie observes a cultural shift away from that of community in favour of a more insulated existence, and reveals a snapshot of a modern day society in which ‘curtain twitching’ summation, and gossip, can lead to fear of the unknown and even hostility.
