This is our third episode featuring interviews with Mario Ivanou from Smithfield Boxing club , Aaron Dunne from a Different light and music and chat from Amy and Orla Mc Gloughlan.

SMC TV is a project created by Barry Lennon with the support of Bradog Regional Youth Services . The project is a based over a ten week training plan where young people are recruited from the area where the project is based in this case the north inner city . The pre-production/planning meetings are held in the youth center while all the filming takes place in the community shopfront studio in Temple Bar. The young people are tasked with producing four studio based shows and decide on the content collectively . The trainer teaches the young people production skills including studio production roles like sound , vision mixing , direction , presenting and lighting to name a few . The young people learn new employable skills in media production which helps them to apply for further education and employment . The course also helps the young people to engage with their local community . This project was funded by the Community Foundations Caring Communities Grant.
