SEPTEMBER 8TH. 16x9 Studios was "IN DA BUILDIN'" to capture one of the most spectacular displays of raw, unadulterated, mixed martial arts talent and determination to date in Southern California, as Jason Stewart and the Epic Staff hosted Epic 14at the 4th & B in beautiful downtown San Diego!! This event re-defined the standard of what mixed Martial Arts Fans and participants should expect when they are at one of these incredible events!!! Everything about this event was different..from the gritty, sweaty, urban underground, Blood Sport meets Mad Max Welcome to the Thunderdome feel of it, to the spectacular half time show featuring the stunningly beautiful, talented Epic Ring Card Models. There were dramatic knockouts, surprising submissions, incredible music, gorgeous women, UFC celebrities in attendance, and more action than you could keep up with!!! Epic hosted the best show in town, BAR NONE. I hope you enjoy this brief highlight reel containing just a small fraction of the fantastic action witnessed that night!!! This is a personal project I've been working on for more than a month. I was initially inspired by the motion graphics from European designer Magnus Engfors. Most of what you see here was created in Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas. Shot in San Francisco. Martial artists are Fred Yu and Darren Domingo; thanks guys for your talent and willingness to be a part of this.
