  2. Ever since I was a kid, I loved the the characters and soundtrack of the former Disneyland attraction, 'America Sings'. I couldn't help but feel compelled to keep the spirit of it it alive in the form of classical hand-drawn ("2D") animation. I've been working on it off and on for the past 15 years. It's truly a labor of love (and it's also a work-in-progress).

This is dedicated to Disney Legends, Marc and Alice Davis and Buddy Baker.

I hope all of you enjoy this "fan film" and thank you for watching.

  3. This is my second-year film at CalArts! A little girl learns the consequences of being lazy when it comes to a messy room.

Special thanks to Philip Wareborn for the music and Leila Navon for the sound design!

  4. The transition of Winter to Spring

I created this animatic for my final storyboarding project this semester at MCAD. All sound effects were either purchased on itunes or recorded myself using random objects scattered around my studio. For the music, I chose sections of a karaoke version of "Tsumugi Uta" by DATEKEN. (itun.es/i6n5Cd)

Otherwise, the characters and artwork are original and belong to me. Thanks for looking!

  5. In a city park, Lauren participates in a scavenger hunt where passengers must pair up with a pedicab driver to find items on a list, but an inconsiderate, over-weight passenger makes it a challenge for her.

My first short as a professional animator since my college Senior thesis five years ago and the first that is self-funded. This is an attempt to display the type of animation I always wanted to do and the inspirations that I am affected by every day. It is the first short where I wanted to gather a more solid crew, basically all of it brought in online.

This tied with winning the Excellence in Design Award in the Independent Category in the 2012 ASIFA East Awards.
