Just a short time-trial that no one should hesitate to call a prologue, and a few not-particularly well-controlled but never-the-less interesting sprints. Obviously I couldn't keep off this one—not the way the Internet exploded following Renshaw's ejection. It wasn't entirely an otherwise unremarkable stage, but most of this focuses on the final few meters, where Mark Renshaw made some good (and maybe not so good decisions) piloting Mark Cavendish to another excellent Tour win. At the end of the day, though, it was the Race Jury that made the most decisive and unexpected move.
