Taro, a small village on the North East coast of Japan has twice before in its history been destroyed by tsunamis. In 1979 a dyke that in some places measures more than 10 meters high was built.
When the latest tsunami wave came in it was over 20 meters high and completely devastated the village again.

Tattoos have long had a rebellious portrayal in many Asian countries, often symbolosing gang memberships.
However, part of a movement thats trying to redraw its image in the region, one tattoo artist in Hong Kong is trying to elevate the skill to a new level of "fine art" .
The work of Joey Pang, the world's only tattoo artist who is known to be professionally trained in Chinese calligraphy, is in such high demand that she has a customer waiting list of two years.

Ghoomo in hindi can mean spin as well as travel.
What makes this extra special is that the people in the ad took photographs of themselves while spinning! The photos were then later put together to make a video, just like a timelapse.
Shot over 2 weeks, we met a lot of special people who were warm and kind enough to to share a moment and spin with us :)
This is the second cut for a TVC for Rajasthan tourism.
Hope you enjoy spinning with them!
Moments in China is a collection of vivid moments I experienced while traveling around China last month. The piece flows from Hong Kong to Beijing, and visits Guilin, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Some moments are more significant than others, but I have a personal connection with each. The video is particularly special to me because I have not had time for personal projects over the past several months.
However, that is not to say that the past several months have not been exciting. I have had the chance to work on some interesting projects such as the Luminato Festival which aired on TV and at major theatres across Ontario, sequences for the Toronto Blue Jays, a set of commercials for Niagara Tourism, and promotional material for Toronto Tourism. I am also pleased to announce that I will be putting together Toronto Tourism's newest video aimed at garnering international interest for Toronto. I intend to take a unique approach.
Thank you to Trevor Corrigan for creating the title; and my family, Jon B, Martin L, Henry Less, Derek Flack and Bryan Brock for various reasons.

In the course of refurbishment works ART+COM was commissioned to create a signature art installation for the Departure-Check-in hall of Terminal 1 at Singapore Airport. “Kinetic Rain” is composed of two parts, each consisting of 608 rain droplets made of lightweight aluminum covered with copper. Suspended from thin steel ropes above the two opposing escalators, each droplet is moved precisely and seemingly floating by a computer-controlled motor hidden in the halls ceiling. The drops follow a 15-minute, computationally designed choreography where the two parts move together in unison, sometimes mirroring, sometimes complementing, and sometimes responding to each other.
Kinetic Rain is placed in the CODAawards Top 100. PLEASE VOTE for it now! Category Transportation: codaworx.com/awards
