CAT in WATER is a media expedition to share the stories of Thailand's endangered fishing cats as they make a last stand in a land dominated by man. We like to think CAT in WATER represents the perfect marriage of science, media, adventure and a good cause.

Supported in part by The WILD Foundation, International Society for Endangered Cats Canada, GoPro, Think Tank Photo, Community Foundation of Boulder County and more than 130 individual donors (AKA Our person rockstars!).

  4. In the summer of 2012, MIT/WHOI graduate student Ben Linhoff spent 80 days living and working at the foot of the Leverett Glacier in southwestern Greenland. He was there to continue work he began in 2011 with another season-long field campaign to understand how melting on the Greenland Ice Sheet affects movement of the glacier. This time, his stay coincided with the most extensive melting across the ice sheet in recorded history.

  5. I went to the mountains of Dovre in Norway with one goal in my mind - to find and photograph the fascinating musk oxen. I hoped and begged for snow, high winds and fog and I got it all. I was with the oxen for three days - day and night. Each morning when I arose they were resting less than 300 meters from my tent - it was an unforgettable experience.
