Update: Thanks so much for all your comments! I am reading them all and enjoy them a lot! I am sorry I can't reply to all of you. I am traveling at the moment and only have internet access once in a while. I hope to get to all the questions eventually. Thanks again! A collection of time lapses I took around the San Francisco Bay Area roughly shot over the period of one year. Please watch in HD :-) Find more of my work on my website www.simonchristen.com Follow

Get updates about my film and download my 1080p videos: timescapes.org http://twitter.com/timescapes I spent the last couple of nights testing my new dolly. It's custom made from aluminum and powered by the mumford stepper motor. The dolly is capable of "move-shoot-move" motion control. I'm fascinated with how the light intensity and color is always changing on the surface of the sea. Time lapse provides the perfect tool to understand and appreciate the changing dynamics of light on the water. This video showcases some of the light and cloud variation through the days and weeks on Puget Sound west of the city of Seattle. Visit www.timeframesvideo.com to see more in this collection.

Thought I'd take the 5D MKII for a test drive. This video represents some rough sketches from a minor snow storm in downtown Seattle. Most people seemed to be heading home, for a Sat. things were pretty dead due to road conditions. Lenses used: 70-200 2.8 IS, 16-35 I 2.8. No image post-processing used other than playing with speed. www.lukeallenhumphrey.com
