It's custom made from aluminum and powered by the mumford stepper motor. The dolly is capable of "move-shoot-move" motion control. I'm fascinated with how the light intensity and color is always changing on the surface of the sea. Time lapse provides the perfect tool to understand and appreciate the changing dynamics of light on the water. Thought I'd take the 5D MKII for a test drive. This video represents some rough sketches from a minor snow storm in downtown Seattle. Most people seemed to be heading home, for a Sat. things were pretty dead due to road conditions. Lenses used: 70-200 2.8 IS, 16-35 I 2.8.
