The final version of our recode of the V&A Decode ident - now with audio. The decode logo is formed from 250,000 cubes which separate, swarm and flock like tiny futuristic cuboid fish. It runs in realtime on a (high end) consumer PC, and it's even a bit interactive. An interactive installation work, created by angryPixel for the Underbelly Arts festival in Sydney, July 2010. In nature, organisms are in permanent transitions. “Ephemeron” is a visual manifestation of this constant change. It is a GPU based audiovisual generative system with 1 million triangles whose motion behaviors and physical properties evolve over time. The result is a world of metamorphosis whose appearance is ephemeral yet memorable.
