"Wonderboy in Monsterland" is the first single from "Cthulhu" the fourth official album of 7 Days Awake. Whilst the previous year's fresh and catchy album "Interference" mainly focuses on songs, the sound of the new concept album "Cthulhu" is exactly the opposite. "7 Days Awake" is about the balance between creation and destruction of structures. The tracks are catchy-atmospheric or intensively brute, and at the same time always a bit weird, startling and filled with deep love for extended instrumental parts.
We would like to thank all the people who made this video possible:
Edith for the location "Potemkin", the upcoming underground rock bar in Bielefeld! Marc Hotfiel for his endless support, especially for organizing the location, for bringing his ideas into the story, for shooting the video and for the coordination of all the chaotic people during the making! He also helped a lot with "cutting & editing". Marc is the man, thank you!!! We also would like to thank Linda for dancing…
"Destination Zero" is the first single from "Interference" the third record of 7 DAYS AWAKE. Strong independent rock, catchy, fresh and british - thats the sound of the German trio on their new record. Besides the unconventional guitar play of Valera Igla it is above all the voice of Hell-G that makes the new 7 DAYS AWAKE sound so different from the old ones. The drummer startet to sing in the band after the last record while he still is playing the drums. His honest and haunting voice is a huge step forward for the band. "Interference" is a record for all those who loves the unusal in music but don't want to renounce great melodies. "Destination Zero" is the song that shows most clearly how 7 DAYS AWAKE handle this task.
