November is our summer vacation: we leaved Paris and our rabbits for 4 days!
The choice of the destination was decided the last week, the weather that convinced us.
So we went on the Lanzarote Island, one of the seven islands of the Canary Islands (Spain) near Morocco.
It was an opportunity to test all of our new toys together (slider, motorized head ...).
And what a surprise! We really had a crush on this volcanic island, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Deserts of stones, dried lava, volcanoes ... the landscape charmed us! And it's just a few hours from Paris ...

En novembre, ce sont nos grandes vacances:…
- Our Canon 7D with the 10-22mm stolen by the peruvian customs
- we were almost refused our entry with the sony FX1000 into the Machu Picchu site
- Claire had food poisoning for 24h
You will understand that we had a lot of emotions! ...but we enjoyed our 72h in Peru!!
And so these shoots were hard to bring!
Beautiful landscapes, nice people and it was the ideal country to test our slider.

Que cette escapade fut difficile et forte émotionnellement...
Les paysages sont magnifiques et les gens adorables, mais il nous a fallu passer par différentes épreuves:
- Claire s'est fait saisir le 7D: nous ne l'avons donc plus
- Claire a eu une méchante intox alimentaire sur 24h
- j'ai failli ne pas pouvoir entrer dans le site du Machu Picchu avec la grosse Sony... il a fallu…

At the end of June, we were in Corsica!
We started from the Riviera to cross the Mediterranean to arrive in Corsica. The crossing lasted all night and it was a great time!
So we went sailing on a catamaran with a couple of friends and their three children and two dogs.
So we joined Calvi, the Girolata, Sagone and Ajaccio.
The weather was ok but the sea was rough, but no one were sick!
And we took the trombone and accordion for only 20 seconds of film!!

Fin juin début juillet, nous sommes partis faire du catamaran avec un couple d'amis, leurs enfants et leurs 2 toutous. Nous sommes partis de St Raphael et avons rejoint Calvi après une nuit de traversée formidable!
Nous ensuite rejoint Elbo, Sagone puis Ajaccio.
Le temps était beau mais la mer rudement agitée!
Quant au trombone et à l'accordéon, il a fallu les trimballer jusque là-bas pour juste 20 secondes de film...

In february, after Rome, we went to north of Poland to visit our friend, Maciej.
Maciej lives for one year with his "babcia", his grand-mother.
We spent a great moment with them, and Maciej showed us his beautiful countryside.
It's in the northest point of Poland, and the sea was frozen: the first time, as Jesus, we walked on the sea :-) (but I was a little bit scared :-)
Maciej lives in Puck (pronounced Pootshk), near Gdansk.
Polish cuisine, coal heating, four layers of clothes, seagulls, stranges words (like "Wrzsezscszczcszzsczz)... we love Puck!!
Sure we will be back!
(by the way, beef guts were ravioli)

En février, après Rome, nous sommes allés rendre visite à notre ami Maciej dans le nord de la Pologne, et plus précisément dans le point le plus septentrional de la Pologne.
Il vit là-bas depuis un an avec sa babcia, sa grand-mère. Il a été un excellent guide pour nous faire découvrir sa région

For the new year day, we were in Boston, the beautiful Boston!
It's an historic city, with wonderful classic architecture.
The sun was with us, so we enjoy more! It's very nice to see residents areas in downtown, with all the red bricks.
Boston, it's the Red Socks, the Bruins and..... the CELCTICS!!! GO GO GO CELTICS!! We assist to our first NBA match and it's was really a wonderful show, we loved it (and we saw our big papy (alias Shaquille O'Neal!!).
We recommand Boston (and not only for the Celtics and Harvard!)
And thanx to Christian, the excellent tour guide!!

Boston, c'était pour 48h début janvier.
Nous avons été vraiment enchanté par cette ville symbolique au passé historique.
Le mélange du modernisme et de l'architecture de briques rouges est vraiment réussi, on ne peut être que charmé par Boston.
Et puis à Boston, il y a les Celtics qui jouent, cette équipe NBA mythique! C'était un rêve de…
