A little thriller about two guys mixed up in the wrong side of life, and the toll it takes on their character and soul. Written / directed / edited by myself. Previously, I also had a short at SUNDANCE '04.

A science-fiction short film about a young man who accidentally discovers that he can travel between two parallel worlds. He soon realizes that doing so has deadly consequences.
This is a narrative short film shot on 35mm that I wrote, produced, directed and edited. It is based on a joke I heard long ago.
I was inspired to make this short film because I wanted to work with a group of creative talents to create a film project that would have a high visually creative footprint.
We shot Cyanide Breathmint at the National Black Theatre in Harlem, New York on an empty floor in their studios on world-renown W.125 St. We spent two long days constructing the set using mostly string, cardboard and wood. Then, we shot on 35mm Vision film stock for two more days.
I did all of the editing in my creative studio in Austin, Texas. Afterward, it was transferred to HD and color corrected by the talented folks at AndTransfer in Dallas, Texas.
I want to thank everyone who worked on this film with me.
Let me know what you think.
