'Unique' is probably the best word to describe the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention. Founded in 1937 by Mr Herbert J Mateer, the Convention has continued without a break as an annual event ever since. In 2008, in it's 72nd year, the original purpose of the Convention is as valid today as it was when it first began – to promote and support world mission.
