The second of the two Balkan films made by Doug Aubrey with Scotty Lee, screened on C4 (when they use to do such things) back in late 2000.
Forget Football in the Danger zone and other such manufactured Oxbridge output - this is the real thing - for an audience with hearts and minds....

Minefield is an existential buddy-movie; A feature doc about war, football and friendship filmed over 15 years.
Part 1 of the rough cut features a footballer and a filmmaker as they travel to Baghdad, Moldova and Cambodia, respectively, teaching mine risk education and footballing skills to kids and filming this.
Part 2 takes us to Kurdistan, London, Jordan and back to Kirkuk.
