This is a peek at the early sessions of Rob Chiavelli and Scott Crawford. We met about a month prior to this session. This was our last rehearsal before we play a one hour set at Malone's on October 6th, 2011.
This one is a bunch of trippy computer generated visuals set to an instrumental called The Crucible. The thought behind it is that a crucible is a melting pot used for refining and burning out the impurities. In a sense, when we are vulnerable before God and ask Him to refine us, our whole life is a journey of burning out the impurities.
The images in this video represent that journey...the trials, triumphs, prunings, confusion, storms, false…
Been kickin this song around for about 3 years now. Recently started playing it again. Originally it was strummed; I always felt it just dragged and I could never get the right tempo. I think it is closer to what it should be now.
Recorded February 28, 2011 at Java Joe's Coffee & Wine Lounge, Yorba Linda CA.
I wrote the first line and the music of this song while playing on the street in Costa Mesa one night. The piece started to flow and I had to get home to a quiet place and let the rest flow.
The song is about finding that intimate place in your own heart that can give God authentic praise that is just as beautiful to Him as all the glory of nature.
Thanks to sister…

Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
