Open captioned version.

Produced by the Alaska Trappers Association this video promotes trapping-awareness. Many of Alaska's communites can be found adjacent to prime wildlife habitat. Trappers are drawn to these areas, as are dog walkers, snowmachine riders and hikers. Sometimes pets roam freely into these areas and can become caught in traps.

The video doesn't show dogs caught in traps. It doesn't promote trapping, but deals with the practicalities of sharing the trails and educating all users of what to look for on traplines. Various types of traps are discussed and suggestions given on how to assist a pet if necessary.
