In opposition to these teachings that have been circulating among us for months...
We at Reality Adorn affirm that the teaching of Christian Perfectionism is a heresy, a false doctrine, and a different Gospel than the one that is taught us by the Holy Scriptures.
We at Reality Adorn affirm that sanctification is a process in which the life of a believer is BEING made more like Christ, and that this process will continue on in this life until we die, or Jesus takes us away.
We at Reality Adorn deny that the Christian must sin, and is in fact, called to flee sin, but we affirm that sinlessesness will only be perfectly attainable when we are glorified from our sinful bodies.
We at Reality Adorn affirm that the doctrine of perfectionism is a works-based gospel, and not really another gospel at all (Gal. 1:6-7).
This sermon was delivered on the authority of Titus 1:9-11 which instructs the pastor to "hold fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching," in order to:
1) Exhort in sound doctrine, and
2) Refute those who contradict.
