Dub Inc. has been the band symbolizing the best the Reggae Made in France Renewal of last decade. Indeed, the late 90s and early 2000 seemed to announce the decline of some emblematic bands, when one voice, rather two voices, those of Bouchkour and Komlan, and a band, Dub Inc., brought a whiff of fresh air on French reggae scene.

Growing up in the Jamaican countryside, Storm was highly influenced by his environment. The vitality of his native island manifests itself in all of his works, both its celebratory joy, and dark chaos. Gritty footage combined with delicate edits are signatures of Storm’s work. All the work that he creates carries both the frenzied heartbeat of an uncontrollable universe, and the humor, sexuality, and subtlety of humanity.

What is Africology?
Africology is an entertainment venture, founded by Sirak Getachew and Kalab Berhane, that focuses on educating the world on music of African descent. The etymology of the Africology: Afric implying African and logy implying a branch of learning captures the intent of the founders’ concept to the tee.
