Another amazing airshow with our friends at the Dittingen Flugtage. Beside my main filmings with the Patrouille Suisse and the Super Constellation for the forthcoming feature films, we enjoyed filming a video with our friends of the Bronco team. The evening atmosphere on the airfield was perfect to join the spirit of aviation and firedance in a video. We recorded a lot of amazing footage and a long version coming soon on VOD.
Many thanks to my friends Xavier and Alain. A special thanks to Franziska for her support during the weekend and for the beautiful firedance sequences. Thank you to the Dittinger Flugtage organizers and volunteers.

I've just edited a new video with a selection of aerial footage filmed beside the air-to-air photo flights during the week of Handiflight in Gruyère.
For the fifth year, the aero club of Gruyère has organized a worldwide meeting of disabled pilots to share experience and to offer special training in mountain flying. Gruyère is the only airfield in Switzerland offering disabled people instruction in glider or power flight.
For this fifth edition, about 25 glider and powered aircraft pilots and paragliders from New Zealand, Sweden, England, Belgium, France and Germany have shared the pleasure of flying in this amazing region.
Brian Jones is the Honorary President of the event. He participated with Bertrand Piccard in the first non-stop balloon flight around the world and is the co-founder of the Winds of Hope Foundation. Breitling is sponsoring this event.
Special thank to my friend Tahan and his Yak 18A for all the air-to-air flights for movies and photographies during the week. Many thanks to all the air-to-air pilots... and a big "thank you" to my friends Daniel and Sarah and to all our visitors.
Filmed and edited by Yannick Barthe, yannickbarthe.ch with a Sony A99 and the 24-70mm lens. Of course, it's not the quality of aerial footage filmed with a Cineflex system, but with a low budget and just a camera in hands, I'm really happy of what we've done together. Many thanks guys... the pilots, you are awesome !
