little bit of footage from our festival performance. this is a new track that is still untitled, it was one of our favorite tracks to play last weekend. i think it had something to do with it being like 170bpm...

the HD version is coming...
to celebrate the re-release of our debut ep 'touch me', we finally got round to finishing the video. filmed in our little studio with the help of a black sheet, lamp and laura and her canon 5d mark ii. edited with final cut pro by my square eyes.

couldn't resist throwing another one up, again we'll redo the audio and 'magically fix' the timing issue at the beginning, apparently the crowd was too loud to hear the loops, what a nightmare :)
this is just the audio from the camera but we have it recorded so we'll slot in the mix when we get it sorted next week.
thanks to everyone who turned up, we owe you a huge thank you for helping us make it such an occasion...
totally worth all the nights scratching our heads about string parts and learning what range a cello had. was undoubtably one of, if not the best live experience we've ever had the pleasure to play.
there was a lot of people who helped us pull this off, huge shout outs to dave, richie, laura, carolyn, tam, cryptic, brian (motorpsycho) and of course the viridian quartet. we would not have come close without everyone and can never thank you enough.

i don't have a clue whose idea it was to try and do a set with a string quartet but steep learning curve doesn't cover it.
we've spent the past few weeks writing string parts without knowing what semi quavers are, apparently we use them a lot.
these are some clips of our first rehearsal, obviously we'll have all the guitars going too, but this is the just the initial run through of our set.
after it starting a little shaky (we had accidentally transposed the cello part up 33 tones, whoops) it started sounding pretty good.
i think i'm almost looking forward to the gig now...

Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
