On the 8th of April 1961, the last steam train ran the mile-long stretch of what once was the Great Midland and Western Railway to Liffey Junction from the Broadstone railway terminus.
The intervening fifty years has allowed nature to reclaim this inaccessible green corridor and it remains Dublin's hidden secret garden.
