1. Reverse Shadow Theatre is an installation created with the Animata real-time animation editor.

Wayang Kulit is the indonesian shadow puppet theatre, in which finely carved and painted leather puppets move behind a screen making the audiance see their shadows only. In our installation the situation is reversed. The role of the elaborate puppets is emphasized, while the visitor is a mere shadow trying to control the puppets by her movements.

  3. A dance-theatre piece with video, written and directed by Inés Boza with Senza Tempo

A+, Cosas que nunca te conté is a piece that uses the contemporary language of dance theatre. It combines elements of circus and video art to talk about nomadism in the 21st century.

It takes place in and around a caravan, a symbol of those that leave, a symbol of utopia, liberty and a symbol of transit of this "no man's land" between expulsion of ones' origins and an uncertain future. A caravan as a screen for projections, which submerge us into different levels of reality.

  4. The window to the public courtyard of the house becomes a scenario, observing seemingly everyday situations ofprivate room. The installation examines and plays with the curiosity of man, his naturalness of voyeurism and surveillance evidence of private space in the era of "open information".

  5. The light is dimmed in the auditorium; the audience is completely absorbed looking at the screen to take in the projection of the movie. The flickering of the images starts but then all in the sudden a man appears in front of the screen and breaks out a piece of it. It has the shape of a cube. He puts it on the floor and moves it away from the screen. Delighted he notices that the flickering also reaches this new arranged fragment of the screen. Quickly he breaks out more and more pieces and thus creates a multitude of small, geometrically altered screens, which he arranges anew in the entire auditorium. In order to still be able to take in all the flickering of the images, the audience has to stand up and duck down, twist and turn. The man seems to be obsessed to capture the now apparently freely flying images with his cubes, thus giving them a new destination and maybe a new meaning.

“Cube Pusher” is a cinematic and experimental performance, which aims to question and resolve the generally rigid relationship between audience and screen. By breaking down the screen in small cubes and consequently also the images the spectator is meant to be taken out of its passive, “two dimensional” consuming of images and can, if it wishes so, participate in pushing the cubes.

Thus a experimental and provocative game of video-images and music, speech and projection surfaces emerges, which aims to create new audio-visual worlds and forms of storytelling.

Soon the spectator finds himself in a universe of images and sounds, which makes him amused and upset, dance and stunned…
