I've been a big fan of the original Cotton Carrier camera carrying system. Recently I tried the StrapShot from the same company. Rather than being an over the chest harness like the original Cotton Carrier, the StrapShot is designed to attach to any backpack strap and allow for a secure, and easily accessible, way to carry your camera while in the outdoors.
For either option, I enjoy having my camera close while in the outdoors. It is nice to not have to dig through my backpack for my camera when a great shot presents itself.
This pack has turned out to be my favorite day-back. It's a great winter pack, as it's intended, but also great for traveling and for warm weather day hikes. It's ended up replacing one or two other day packs I own.
The Kode comes in three different sizes. The version reviewed is the 30 litre size.
