A short video outlining the case for a local Television service for Barnstaple and the surrounding areas. Barnstaple has been shortlisted for one of the 65 local TV licences but we must make sure that our area of North Devon is awarded one of the pilot licences. If we do gain a licence in the pilot phase of the project it will mean a local TV service broadcast on Channel 8 on Freeview could start as early as Q3 2012.
