Thanks to the efforts of group members from Ocean Conservancy and Paso Pacifico, Nicaragua participated in an international beach clean-up. Casa Llanta and several community members of El Carizal visited Playa Hermosa and Playa Tamarindo. Because both beaches are inaccessible by car, the group piled in tractors and the Da Flying Frog's canopy tour truck to off-road across 17 river crossings, through the jungle and finally down to the sandy beaches. Our group filled over 150 large trash bags and hosted an environmental lesson for the children in the Carizal Community. David Larkins recorded the event and put together this music video to display on stage for the children at the Earthship Pitaya Music Festival.
