BURN UNIT crew was born in ATL and established in 2000 after the decline of Hi-Fi-Tribe, which was originally started in 1997. The strongest members of Hi-Fi-Tribe, Killa Totem, Ginx, Form, Kaipee created BURN UNIT out of the chaos.

Offical BURN UNIT ACTIVE [Dancing] members are Killa Totem, Form, Ginx, Vendetta, Severe, Jakal, Vyllyn, Abyss, and Physics [Honorary Burn Unit / Prospect] . BURN UNIT has a distinct style of dancing that separates them from most bboys and bgirls with movements raw and edgy reminiscent of House, Capoeria, Gymnastics and animal influenced movements.

BURN UNIT has been represented in a multitude of battles, competitions, and shows with clients such as Microsoft, the WNBA, Cartoon Network, Red Bull, and MTV. BURN UNIT has also thrown countless events and battles in Atlanta since its early stages.

BURN UNIT has been a leading crew in the Atlanta bboy scene for almost a decade and continues to represent Atlanta both on a national and international level of bboying and bgirling.
