CancerIS a Community

  1. Cancer survivors get together to show a lighter side to cancer. This side is often found in the chemo room, where cancer patients share jokes, stories and encouragement, often making strong friendships. Many patients even say they miss the camaraderie they found in this room after they have completed their cancer treatment.

An Omaha oncology group brought some of their staff and doctors together with their cancer patients to produce this music video, which is a parody of Thrift Shop, where the patients and staff rap about getting through cancer treatment and ultimately finding a cure for cancer.
