This is an exercise in tracking shots. I am using an 8 foot board, a skateboard, 2 sawhorses and a steadybag to put the hv30 camera on. The camera settings are 24p cinema mode.
This is a trailer made for a Theology and Film class at Concordia University. It took a lot of time to make, and would have probably been better if I could have shot that machine gun scene out of Ryan's sunroof, but I hope you like it anyways.

My friend Brian and I have tossed around dozens short movie ideas but never seem to find the time to actually shoot one. Until now. And yup... out of all our crazy stories, THIS is the one we decided to spend our time to work on. Go figure!
The video was shot using a Canon HV30 with a Letus35 adaptor and Nikon 50mm lens. I used MBL for CC and editing was done on Adobe CS4 Photoshop, AE, and Premiere.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
