Originally an art director and animator at Brazilian studio Lobo, Cassiano started directing live action after a long period collaborating with main animation studios in London such as Nexus, Passion Pictures, UVA and Mtv International.

Represented in the UK and Europe since 2007 as a commercial and music video director, he consistently proved to bring something extraordinary to each project - a creative approach that resulted in him being short-listed by Channel 4's Talent Awards as one of five directors to watch in British animation.

The work also achieved important awards like the Reanimacja Festival in Poland, BBC’s Radio 6 Music Video of the Week and most recently two D&ADs with Microsoft's Xbox webfilm.
