Third trip , Third movie .
Never a country inspired me so much before. Probably because i never get so much emotion travelling in another country. There is something so special in Myanmar and i don't have any words to explain it properly, so i 've been trying through this footage.
For this trip I did exactly the same loop as the two previous one , but in a shorter time ( I got only 10 days) . That was during April .The temperature are really hot during that period making a trip more difficult and filming asking much more motivation!
For this trip i was focusing in using my favorite lens , a 50 mm which has a really great swalow of depth but no stabilizer . Using handheld is pretty difficult so it was necessary to use a steadycam. For most of the portrait , i did asked to people if it was possible to make a picture of themselves, so in this movie you don't see so much "stolen" portrait . Most of time i bought something from them and most of time it's really a small amount of money , but represents a lot for them. It's a good way to introduce with them and share a nice moment in their company. Sharing such moment for me is a key of a wonderful trip...
I hope you will enjoyed it.

Music : Max Richter : "Sarajevo"
Olafur Arnalds: " A sudden Throw"
