When Sarah or Chris tells the other that they love them, and the other repeats, I love you back, one of them is bound to say I love you more. This presents probably the funniest and cutest dilemma, which needs a little clearing up each time. What a better way to find who ULTIMATELY loves the other more by a completive and hasty game of rock, paper, scissors.
I first heard of Sarah from my brother Connor, who had gone on a mission trip to Costa Rica with her, just raving about her, also possibly mentioning that she wanted a wedding film - I was down. I had phone calls and emails galore from CA to OH and finally met both Sarah and Chris the morning of their wedding day.
It was instantly awesome when I showed up to Sarah's house to find her and Emily (sister) watching The Proposal and dancing alongside it, putting on quite the show for all the bridesmaids. The morning was beautiful seeing the interactions between Sarah and her father, which…

I first met Cameron when we joined a traveling soccer team together, back in fifth grade. We became best friends and hungout all through middle and high school. Cameron was the kind of kid that despite of his goofiness and tough spirit, was an encourager, especially in my faith. We parted ways for college but stayed in touch and ran into each other most christmas and summer breaks. It's been fun to maintain a friendship, and always have some awesome memories growing up together to share, along with our families being super close.
It's been a joy to be in Cameron's life and such a blessing to see him grow up. I very much value his choice in the woman he was choosing to spend the rest of his life with, Alythea. She has such a similar amazing passion for Jesus, and an indescribable joy completely given away by her smile.
Thanks for letting me shoot your wedding and make this film for you, I am so blessed to share in your joy, and see the love that you two have been given from Christ, and…

Lance and Jaime are a fun couple.
You might notice that they tend to laugh a lot in this film.
You may also notice that in the moment of each laugh throughout the film, neither of the two could appear more happy.
I really enjoyed this beautiful wedding at the Aliso Creek Inn & Golf Course (www.alisocreekinn.com) -- they couldn't have done a better job personalizing the whole day. From the lovey dovey bride and groom table at the reception, cutesy bottles of soda/vodka to take home, and the small intimate ceremony with the hills in the background - it was perfectly put together.
Such a treasure of a day, loved the love radiating from Jaime and Lance and the joy that they share together. I was blessed to shoot their wedding and make this film for them!
First of all, I knew Lake Tahoe would quickly become one of my favorite places in all of California -- even before arriving there.
This film was produced solely for the Hyatt, as a promotional video to show off the Resort as a one of a kind venue for weddings. The goal was to capture both the behind the scenes work at the resort and the personalities of the couple and their bridal party.
This was by far one of my favorite wedding shoots of all time, purely for the fact that the whole wedding experience was more than just the wedding day: bridal prep, ceremony, reception. But also, our crew was able to film the guys going golfing, the bride getting a wonderful salon treatment, hiking near and far to get all the establishing shots, composing the shots for what ended up being gorgeous time lapses, and shooting behind the scenes of the amazing Hyatt Regency staff.
Thank you Ian Pratt for taking the epic journey to Tahoe with me I am so pumped we got to work together, and thanks for giving…

What a delight this shoot was. From beginning to end, EVERYTHING was perfect & beautiful. The rustic forest feel of the ceremony, to the string lights and DIY style deco of the reception was fab.
I love these two, and they love Jesus with all of their hearts, and shooting weddings for my brother and sisters in Christ is one of the best blessings as a wedding Cinematographer. Their wedding gave COMPLETE glory to Jesus, and it was so evident that God blessed their relationship, and will continue to pour out His love on their marriage.
Ben Winchell came to shoot with me on this one, and I can say, freaking STUD gave me EPIC detail shots, and was right by my side the whole day to make everything easier, funnier, and better. Thanks Ben!
PHOTOG LOVE: it's not often I shoot with a photog more than once, but its starting to happen with my FAVORITE photog: PAUL VON RIETER (www.paulvonrieter.com) who I have definitely modeled a lot of…
