Members of Team Little Guy converged on beautiful Lewisville, NC on February 16th for a duathlon. The 5 mile run and 14 mile bike ride was a fun tuneup for the team. A great time was had by all!

State Employees' Credit Union President/CEO Jim Blaine discusses the role of the SECU Foundation in branding the credit union and serving as its advertising campaign.

Blaine also reflects on how the members of the credit union collectively support the Foundation through donations of one dollar each month. He also discusses the Foundation's first program - a $10,000 scholarship that is awarded to one graduating student in each public high school in NC each year.

The SECU Foundation recently received the Herb Wegner Award as the outstanding CU organization for 2008.

Part one of a two-part segment on the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation's Micro Community Grants program. This segment focuses on the $20,000 grant that Fusion Warehouse in Anderson, SC used to build a children's play area.

The play area will provide a safe place for kids to be while parents volunteer at the Warehouse ... and single mothers study for GEDs.
