A woman tries to get some distance from a bad situation. The person at the centre of the problem continues to call her to offer excuses she's not interested in listening to. She just needs some time to process. When the calls won't stop she finds an index card in her steering wheel. Sometimes all you need is a stranger to tell you something you already know.
This was filmed for the Celtx Forum Community Film project outlined here: http://forums.celtx.com/viewtopic.php?t=10424
This was very much a learning film for me. I have two pages of point form notes on the things I didn't do and the things I shouldn't have done.
starring: Sue Kluckow
design: Kristy Shute
lighting: Lizzie Trushinski
audio: David Zuch
writer/director: David Shute

My contribution to the Celtx community film. My first film shot with something other than my digital camera. The sound goes out of sync near the end, but it's not a particularly big deal.
I've been messing around with colour correction, and when I get the hang of it will probably re-edit and re-upload (again.)
Let me know what you think!
The last man on earth hears a strange noise and follows it.
I'll be the first to admit the script is pretty lackluster, but I got good visuals/audio, and a good performance. Overall I'm happy with it.
Shot on an HV30 and edited in Final Cut Pro.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
