The second episode of the new monthly web series from Rob Matsushita.
Set in the months following Chapel's parole (between the episodes AUDITED and COMPLICATED), Chapel learns the law of the streets while working for a low-level drug lord.
Some things never change - people screw you over, but sometimes you gotta decide between what you're capable of, and what you can actually live with afterward.

The first Chapel movie! (Although the new viewer should know that sequentially, this takes place after the 3rd episode, "Battered, Pt. 2."--but it's okay to see this one first)
This was written and shot in 48 hours for Wis-Kino's 2007 Spring Kabaret. This is the touched-up edit.
Starring Emily Mills, Leanne Schmidt, Nick Drake, and Kelly Kiorpes, with music by Emily Mills, shot by Nick Drake, stock effects by Detonationfilms.com, and written, edited, and directed by Rob Matsushita
The second "Chapel" movie ever made!
In this sequel to "Complicated," Chapel, the world's unluckiest drug dealer, makes a stop in Kentucky with her new, none-too-bright business partner, Stan.
This was created for the 2008 Spring Kino Louisville, where directors have to make a short film based on an ingredient provided in 48 hours. Our ingredient was "distraction."
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
