1. This is another attempt to perfect a blender tutorial I watched many moons ago, this was done in cinema 4D.
The modelling in blender was using the array tool, though this does not work in cinema quite the same way. the basic tutorial is easy to understand. Using C4D's symmetry and array tool's for the wheel. The tyre same general rules for modelling however I extruded from the pattern rather than creating faces, please note if you do not

The modelling in blender was using the array tool, though this does not work in cinema quite the same way. the basic tutorial is easy to understand. Using C4D's symmetry and array tool's for the wheel. The tyre same general rules for modelling however I extruded from the pattern rather than creating faces, please note if you do not want to have problems extruding the tyre wall I suggest extruding that first before the tyre pattern, this will ensure your mesh travels in the same direction apply the symmetry object to complete both sides of the tyre, then use the clone tool. This is to your own preference but i created approximately 54 clones then used the bend deformer scaled to approximately 1 clone rotated 90˚ with a bend strength of 6.945˚ ensure you close the gap as closely as you can once you have achieved your tyre shape add a quick matt black with specular activated, you will notice distortions in the tyre wall, to eradicate this simply select current state to object and then run optimise, re render will now show a smooth outer tyre p.s don't forget to hide the old one

Start of my Connectors series. This first one focuses completely on the Hinge Connector (And some motors). Walk through creating a dynamic briefcase, a toy snake, and a walking robot. I had some fun and push the walking robot to do battle to the death verses it's twin.

In this quick tutorial I show you one of the many ways you can use Cinema 4D to create pixel art. It's a simple process using some mograph tools but using it can produce some great results.

In this tutorial I will show how to work(or play-around) with Thinking Particles to build event-based particle systems.I will also show how to combine TP with mograph so you can create a particlesystem then add a more complexity to your animation with your favourite Mograph-effectors.
