Ice Angel blends the act of youthful playfulness when creating snow angels with modern digital manipulations,making the viewer assume the role of both performer and portrait subject.
As the user moves their arms a new wing shape appears, unfurling from the shoulders, moving and displacing virtual snow. The wings are created dynamically and are linked to the participant. The artwork has a ‘memory’, capturing a hidden view of the participant and their angel wings, and this specific angel identity remains linked to that participant in any future encounters with the artwork.
The merging of angel mythology and the natural phenomenon of light travelling to earth creates an intriguing intersection. In modern terms, light is our messenger, allowing us to view the universe. An angel’s form is inherently human, yet an angel always originates from beyond.

Phable is a new art object created by Cinimod Studio and first shown at Testbed1 in London. It was conceived as an exploration into the aesthetic qualities and sensations associated with a table surface. Phable’s function is hybrid and relative to its surroundings, alternating between acting as a table and a light, depending on how its surround space is occupied.
Surface and planarity is represented by a wafer thin glowing white face composed of layered phosphor compounds. Below, the supporting clear acrylic bars act as light tunnels for high brightness blue LEDs. As the blue light hits the thin phosphor layer, various elements of the compound shift the light to different wavelengths which together collectively emit a brilliant white surface. High intensity light is obscured from view due to total internal reflection, completing Phable’s supernatural appearance.

Finial Response is a permanent public artwork by Cinimod Studio located in the bustling heart of Soho in London. It is an interactive and light-based piece that blurs the boundaries between architecture installation and art.

The Aronas are installed as a pair in an important office building in the heart of Lima, Peru. These glistening and sparkling chandeliers, each comprised of hundreds of holographic light tubes, are dramatically showcased against the contrasting black finish of the atrium.
Each light is suspended on almost visible wires, creating a showering lighting effect that is 10 storeys tall. This cascade of light is beautiful to both close observers within the buildings as it is to distant viewers across the city.
Fabricated bespoke for the Edificio Juan De Arona, the chandeliers serve as an example of Cinimod Studio's approach to designing and delivering large scale installations for specific and special locations. Working closely with local lighting designer Paz, the chandeliers have been integrated closely within the greater overall building lighting scheme.
