The John Lewis Christmas campaign has become a symbol of the start of the British festive season, and Blinkink and Hornet are proud to present The Bear & the Hare, Elliot Dear and Yves Geleyn’s heartwarming animated film for John Lewis and Adam & Eve DDB.
There once was an animal who had never seen Christmas. As autumn winds turn to winter snow, the bear begins his annual retreat into hibernation to sleep his way through the best part of the year. The festive spirit is strong though, and his friend the hare is determined to give him a gift he has never received before – Christmas.

Summer is here and with it comes sun, sea and Sandy: a new animated short film written and directed by Joseph Mann. Playful, bright and ever-so-slightly NSFW, Sandy's seaside world was brought to
life entirely through the art of stop frame animation. It took 8 months of work, a lot of sand and hours of moulding anatomically correct private parts to create the film and its handmade set, complete with a bubble wrap sea and miniature rubber dinghy.
Joseph Mann is an animation director represented by Blinkink, whose puppeteered woodland story for Keaton Henson's 'Small Hands' was named Best Music Video at Rushes Soho Shorts and selected for major international festivals including SXSW.

Fashion remix is a new app for Windows 8 which allows the user to control a stop-frame animated film. The app, which was created for the Austrian Cultural Forum (ACF) and AUSTRIANFASHION.NET, will showcase the work of Viennese fashion designers and be displayed as part of the ACF’s ‘Another Austria’ exhibition during London Fashion Week.
Similar to the action of a using a turntable, visitors to the exhibition will be able to remix different designer looks on a stop-frame animated rotating disc, and all with the touch of their fingertips. The results of their creativity will be projected out in real time at the venue, with a synched up remixed sound track by Callrider, giving the animation maximum impact.
