The Clark County Juvenile Court is very fortunate to be able to work with judges who continually support our youth. The courtroom is an important part in the conveyance of the Balanced and Restorative Justice message. Here, Superior Court Judge Robert Lewis shares how important it is for the court to have such caring and supportive volunteers.
The Clark County Juvenile Court cannot do the work it does without the support of community members. Mick Hoffman, from the Vancouver School District, understands the need for the community to have a common and supportive philosophy. She has worked with Restorative Community Service as a mentor, the Community Accountability Boards as a board member and not she helps victims have a voice as a volunteer in the Victim Impact Unit. Here she speaks about her experience and what she has learned being a volunteer working with youth.
