Video and photo documentation has always been an integral part of Colabo Innovations, which served as a mutually beneficial relationships between rider and sponsor. In 2006, team riders Kevin Reimer (known as one of the fastest men on earth for skateboarding), Nathan Lang (known as one of the most consistent riders in the sport for podiums and top 10 placings), Max Erwin (known for winning the largest purse in DH Skate History), and Brianne Davies (one the coveted Speedboarder of the Year and is unstoppable on the race course - ranked #1 in 2008) previously released a standard definition video that was filmed over the past 2 years. This video has not only entertained many, but has also been used as a tool in presentations and meetings to help promote the sport which has subsequently resulted in newly endorsed races.

"12 in Oh Seven", was Colabo's first official team video. The team of riders was put together by Daniel Pape, speed boarding and long boarding enthusiasts who is a front runner in the rise and evolution of the sport. Daniel was done with taking a back seat to the other types of skateboarding and wanted the world too see the great gifts these athletes possessed. In 2008, with the success this video, Mr.Pape teamed up with acclaimed and award winning Cinematographer Errol Lazzarre. The combination of his skills and the riders were in instant success.

At out first HD shoot with Vancouver's Coast Longboarders , the Colabo riders greeted the community with open arms and the session was ground breaking. Errol's 40ft Boom Cam needed a PA, and in Errol fashion, he brought the best. It was on this day that Daniel Pape met co-Producer, Patrick Weir. The next few months was packed with conversations going back and forth between the two and the production was underway. The two had no idea what would come of their visions but what they did know is that nobody had ever truly set out to do what they were planning on accomplishing. Dan Pape wanted a video that showcased the style, skill and intensity of this quickly growing sport and further helped the crew of riders as they came up in the scene. Weir wanted shots that would blow away the world and truly capture what was happening right in our backyard.

The outcome was "The Fellowship of the Bearing"

Quotes from a review, written by Malakai Kingston
"Really this movie is beyond the best longboarding movies this is one of the best action sports movies I have ever seen. This DVD proves definitively that putting a few clips online pales in comparison to putting effort into a full DVD release. Watching the FOTB before it was even over I was hoping that a sequel is in the works. I’m sure it is."
