The Chicago organization Reading With Pictures uses comics as a resource to motivate children to enjoy reading. With plans in place to release a Graphic Textbook, the organization's directors aim to show that comics are more than just Saturday morning entertainment.
This short film was created as a promo trailer for a feature film based on Marvel Comics superhero Luke Cage. Squared served as Digital Production Supervisor and Visual Effects Director for the project. Specific tasks involved the creation of a fully CG cityscape, adding a glow effect to the eyes of the main character, titles, color correction, and digital publishing.
