computer animation

My second demo (short film) in CentreNAD, Montreal.

Done in collaboration with Paul Hannan (character animation) and Jessey Larouche (Architectural Modelling, Secondary Animation, Compositing).

I worked on the Character Modelling, Texturing, Matte Painting and Compositing. The assignment was non-realistic animation.

Done in Softimage|XSI, Adobe Photoshop and eyeon Fusion.

This was a 3D animation done in Maya for a THX Logo contest. Done in 3 weeks at about 4 - 6 hours a day. with the final week rendering it out and editing together. Kind of inspired by the Independence day scene where they tried to make "friendly" contact with the alien ship, in this case the Logo attacks with sound which manifests itself in this shockwave type effect.

Tape-à-l'oeil est un court métrage d'animation 3d créé sous le thème "Le cinéma et moi". Créé dans le cadre d'un projet final d'étude, l'animation a été réalisée en quatre semaines, les rendus et le montage ont été terminés durant la 5e semaine de production.

"Meets the eye" is a 3d animation short movie created under the theme of "Cinema and myself". The short was created as a end of study project. The animation itself was created in 4 weeks while the rendering the editing was finalised in the fifth week of production.

This is my first short film and will always be very close to my heart. It took me approximately 6 months from conception to production and was done during my final year in B.Tech.I am very proud of it and hope u like it too.
