Assembled in 2003 from documentary footage of Poncho Sanchez, this music video was put together for Concord Music Group (Concord Records at the time). Director Andrea Favilli came up with the concept and sat with me in the edit suite for two days or so.

In 2002 Mark Stubis (VP of Communications, KidsPeace) and I put together this VNR promoting this new nationally recognized holiday that he helped create.
We just kind of threw it together and it turned out pretty well... This was in the days before affordable 3D, so the photos and text that move in perspective were created in the 2D space.
All of the file footage came on VHS from VMS, that's why some of this looks so degraded, but in a weird way…
This vid was originally done by Dana Hursey and Andrea Favilli in 1999. In 2008 Hursey handed over the reins to me to continue to update for RHR. This 2009 version will be the last standard def file. A 2010 HD version is in the works which will feature all new (or mostly new) shots.
