The Green Wave in Copenhagen is in place on routes with high levels of bicycle traffic. If you cycle at 20 km/h the lights are timed so that you'll hit green all the way into the city centre.
I rode a section of it one morning and then filmed the rush hour bicycle traffic.

This is motorway #16, which is a main artery leading into Copenhagen.
There are bicycle lanes all along the motorway - on both sides - just like most of the motorways leading to the city.
Most of the motorists stuck in traffic have driven past a number of train stations with frequent service.
There are about 2000-4000 cyclists on this route each day.

The first 'svajer' race in Copenhagen for almost 50 years.
'Svajere' were the bike messengers that ruled the streets of Copenhagen for decades in the first half of the 20th century, riding their huge box bikes and livening up the streets with singing, whistling and banter.
This year, the Svajer race was revived - aka The Danish Cargo Bike Championships.
