We just installed vertical blinds to divide the space in 2. In the original project (cwsc.ning.com/photo/photo/show?id=2019905%3APhoto%3A46) we thought about using regular office fixed thin walls to separate the front room from the working area, but then after some brainstorming we decided that it would be cooler to have just a curtain-style track blind that can be opened at any time :)
Em abril de 2008, fiz uma visita às obras do espaço de coworking em São Paulo
We got the keys for the future coworking office in São Carlos today (March-04-2008) and went there to unload some stuff, and brainstorm about the layout, project and next steps.
The soundtrack is "When It Started" by The Strokes, and the fast-forward effect was made using the JES Deinterlacer xs4all.nl/~jeschot/home.html#DEI freeware thanks to this tutorial karsten.schluter.googlepages.com/slowmowithim08 , because iMovie08 doesnt have VideoFX like iMovieHD had :(
After this visit and a day of brainstorming with email exchanges between me, Marcio Galli vimeo.com/taboca and Ivaldo Sicchieri oficinadesenho.com.br/ , the basic idea of how the office layout should be is pretty much done, there are some photos on the (also new and under construction) cwsc website at cwsc.ning.com/photo .
Station C est un espace de “coworking” à Montréal où les travailleurs indépendants et pigistes peuvent travailler en paix, collaborer, rencontrer des clients, s’entraider et organiser des évènements.
Station C is the first coworking space in Montréal. The kick-off party took place on Thursday, February 28th, 2008.
We bought 3 doors yesterday to build the first desks of our future shared office.
More info about the status of the project at coworking.pbwiki.com/Coworking-Sao-Carlos
The funny thing was that the name of the company who makes the doors is Fuck S/A
