Last weekend was my "birthday weekend". I celebrated in my usual fashion by doing something adventure-like. This year, I hiked up Mount Defiance, a 4800' quad burner for sure. It is mostly trees and rocks but you are rewarded with some killer views now and then. This is one of my favorite hikes in the Gorge.

◕Joey CallahanThis film was an experimentation with applying classic frame by frame animation to digital video. Using a free converter I extracted frames of video and converted them to jpegs. I was then able to paint emerging eyes on the images. Finally I dropped the jpegs back onto the video timeline.
