Some scenes from our trips to the coast. On one of these trips I brought along a REAL Steadicam Merlin and tested it against my $50.00 DIY. The Merlin is by far easier to balance and it is fairly inconspicuous when folded up. However the stabilization once achieved is only marginally smoother that the DIY.
