Empire Campaign Mission Statement:
Developed independently by two up and coming directors, Empire is an online episodic fantastical narrative that encourages brand engagement with the (confidential) brand. The campaign is new territory for (confidential) to explore and expand their online and print market share, encouraging revenue back to the (confidential) retailers and site.
An amalgam of machinery, sports and iconic symbols of man’s prowess explode onto the screen. The concept was inspired by the idea of this ‘man world’ exposing itself atop a piston that shoots out of a gun. This resolving, ever-transitioning, world of masculinity resolves on the resilient Spike Logo.

Dateline Show Opening
I chose to rebrand Dateline NBC for a grad packaging class I'm taking at SCAD. The concept behind the whole Dateline rebrand is as follows: A puzzle, a work in progress that comes together to expose the truth and uncover the Dateline logo. Design goal: A crime scene, out of order--floating in an abyss of dead ends.
The viewer is privy to leafing through this jumbled mess of data, finally leading to the Dateline Logo. Dateline is the gateway to exposing truth and giving these fragmented elements order and meaning.
Civilization being destroyed one letter at a time.
Typography goes from the state of being an identifier for a building to the state of being a visual metaphor (thought) for the breaking down of civilization through the destruction of literacy.
