AIGA Colorado's april event was a tour and lecture with AIGA Associate Curator of Graphic Design, Darrin Alfred of the exhibit The Psychedelic Experience: Rock Posters from the San Francisco Bay Area 1965-71. Though this tour was one night the exhibit itself runs through July 19, 2009. Okay I will admit I was one of the millions of Americans who saw the free Denny's grandslam super bowl ad and got up early to get some free food. With lines out the door my buddy and I decided it wasn't going to happen so we took a trip instead to the locally owned Moonlight Diner. Craftwork is a series of events hosted by AIGA Colorado. The point of the events are simple, get together with other designers and do a fun "off the clock" creative project. This event happened at "The Shoppe" a local cereal bar/design book store/cupcake boutique.

Housed in the Denver Art Museum, the AIGA Design Archives features design work from its annual competitions. The work is being cataloged and preserved as artifacts. This video shows the work being done currently in the archiving process.
